Description
From the abstract of https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10579-020-09520-6 "The LRE Map of Language Resources" was Initiated by ELRA and FlaReNet and "introduced at LREC 2010. Its intended purpose was: 'to shed light on the vast amount of resources that represent the background of the research presented at LREC'. It also aimed at a change of culture in the field, actively engaging each researcher both in the documentation task about resources and in sharing resources. When we started to use it regularly also in other conferences, it became clear that it was an innovative instrument able to provide a picture of the field and its evolution as reflected by the creation and use of Language Resources. " The LREMap has been used by LREC, COLING, ACL, and other conferences to gather data about LR as they are used, described, modified... by the authors when they submit their contributions to conferences. As a database, the LREMap is used by the conference submission software to provide the authors with all the available information about the LR they are citing in their papers. The goal is to restrict the information that authors provide (e.g., regarding availability, usage of LR) to converge towards a a limited list of such values. The SQL dump here provided contains the LREMap data from 2010 to 2018
